I had my first lateral and lowering canthoplasty at some hospital in Gyeonggi-do, but it turned out terribly. Even though eye revision surgery is usually done at least 6 months later, every specialist who saw my eyes said, “You could even have surgery right now?” Their opinion was that there was basically no effect, no scar tissue or anything, and even no scar tissue; as for the people called consultation managers, well, they’re probably amateurs. When I said it had only been 1 month, they tried not to connect me to the director for a consultation at all. Anyway, I consulted at several places. I met doctors at BK, Lapre, and Plus, and in the end, the Plus Apgujeong website had written about lateral canthoplasty so kindly and at length, almost like writing a report lol, so I trusted it and had it done there. The previous hospital agreed to pay the surgery fee. It’s now been 2...3 days. Here, they remove the stitches 2-3 times, I think another clinic was like that too. Anyway, as for the result, I’m very satisfied. It opened a lot, and the before-and-after is clearly different. But what I still don’t know, and what makes me anxious, is that because it was lowered a lot, I’m worried the skin underneath might sag. Anyway, Lapre also had affordable and reasonable surgery fees, specialists, reviews, etc. If I had paid with my own money, I think I would have had the revision surgery there. I was torn between Plus and Lapre until the very endㅠㅠ Around 1.6 million won at Plus, but honestly, is this a surgery worth pricing at 1.6 million? Honestly, I don’t think so. The surgery went well. I’m fairly satisfied. But the cost-effectiveness is really... Double eyelid surgery or epicanthoplasty has amazing cost-effectiveness, you know. I still don’t know about lateral and lowering canthoplasty. It’s too expensiveㅠㅠ I’m not a hospital promoter; I wrote this bluntly and honestly ^_^ I wonder if the consultation manager who refused to even let me meet the doctor because it had only been 1 month after surgery, and was extremely rude, is doing well.
