I had surgery with buried sutures 5 years ago. The clinic was S S Family Medicine, and the price for buried sutures at the time was 300,000 KRW. When I asked again about the buried-suture price in 2013, they said it was 660,000 KRW, and 400,000 KRW if I agreed to share before-and-after photos. I wonder if the price has gone up again now... I don't know the current price.
Maybe because this is not a specialized plastic surgery clinic, even now it doesn't seem to be that well known for plastic surgery, but I heard the doctor was a junior of someone at Mokpo S Eye Clinic. (I didn't know that at the time of surgery... I searched Naver to find my consultation record from then on the website, and I found out after seeing it on Knowledge iN, lol.) I went there after asking about it because I saw someone I knew had it done there. I was younger then, and I was wearing eyelid tape every day to create double eyelids, so I decided to have surgery because I wanted to live without tape, like the double eyelids I had made myself.
That introduction was way too long. Anyway, I had the buried-suture procedure, had the stitches removed, and met my boyfriend a week later. lol Maybe because I was young and my boyfriend was young too, he didn't realize I had surgery.... Since I had been making my double eyelids with tape, maybe that was why..... Back then, I really liked how I had pretty double eyelids every morning without having to apply tape.
Now I'm used to it, so it feels almost like it's always been mine, which is the trap.. lol After 2 to 3 years, the people around me whom I met through social life didn't know I had surgery. Even when I go out bare-faced... they say it's rare these days to meet someone who hasn't had any cosmetic work and that I should never have anything done in the future... Whenever that happened, all I could think was, 'I actually just got my eyes stitched'...;;;;;;....
But now, in year 5, I still have a hidden double eyelid, but I don't know if it loosened or just got thinner. It's way too thin lol When women are together and the topic of cosmetic surgery comes up, they tell me, 'Since so many people get cosmetic procedures these days, getting your eyes done doesn't even count as surgery, and even if you only do it once it seems fine' lol
So I'm looking into revision surgery, maybe with canthoplasty or something else too. I'm not good with words, and it's been a while since I checked information, so I don't know if this will help.. How should I wrap this up... Um..
Bye~!
