Reason for getting rhinoplasty: my nasal bridge was too low and my nostril wings were a bit broad, so I wanted to improve those areas Over 2 weeks, I visited a total of 13 places for consultations, and now I’ve already chosen one and even had the surgery, but I thought this might help, so I’m going to organize my thoughts little by little!
1. ㅊㄷㅇ No consultation fee, surgery cost came out in the high 3 million won range It was my first consultation so I couldn’t ask questions properly, but maybe the director was busy too, because the consultation took less than 5 minutes It was the only place that operated with a closed approach, and they also recommended nostril reduction Rather than diagnosing what my nose was like and how to improve it, it felt more like they were telling me what people commonly do these days, and they said too confidently that there were almost no side effects, so honestly it was just so-so I think the staff were just kind
2. ㅋㅇ Consultation fee 10,000 won, had a CT scan, and the surgery cost was in the high 3 million won range The director was honest My septal cartilage was too small, so it couldn’t be used, and they suggested lifting the nose using ear cartilage and silicone Open approach, with sedation anesthesia They took photos and explained while showing me the nose shape with Photoshop, which was good They had CCTV, and my parents could watch in real time The consultant also compared me with nose photos of people with similar face shapes, so that was very memorable But it seemed like the director tends to make noses a bit more glamorous, so I passed
3. ㅂㅌㅇ With a review event, it was in the low 3 million won range The consultant was good at her job She was kind, and I liked that she organized the consultation details well and sent them to me later The director was kind and did look at various things while trying to explain things neatly, but somehow I didn’t get the feeling that they would do a great job (purely my personal feeling) Maybe it was because all the other hospitals said my septal cartilage was too small to use, but only this place said it could be used.. Still, I liked that they consulted me by pinpointing only the necessary parts without overtreatment

The consultant was really not good; there was some pressure to book that day, and when I said I wouldn’t, the atmosphere suddenly changed a bit They kept advising me that even if I went around to other consultations, it would be similar, which annoyed me For someone getting nose surgery for the first time, isn’t that something you only learn by going around to consultations?
I didn’t have surgery at any of the 4 places above, but if someone says they’re going to go for consultations, I’d like to recommend going to ㅋㅇ and trying a consultation there!
