Is partial removal of the alar cartilage a procedure everyone gets, or was it just me in particular...? I also had septal cartilage surgery and silicone in my noseㅜㅜ My nose gets so blocked that even while sleeping, without realizing it, I breathe through my mouth, and my mouth gets completely dry and I wake up.. And because my nose is blocked, I have nightmares.. I dream that the cosmetic surgery went wrong, and when I wake up at dawn my mouth is completely dry.. Since I can’t breathe through my nose, I must be unconsciously breathing through my mouth, my mouth gets very dry, and I have nightmares.. I dream that the cosmetic surgery went wrong. It’s so painful and scary.. When I shine a flashlight inside my nose, the airway for breathing through the nose is extremely narrowㅜ It seems almost about 1-2 mm.. So at night, when my body is tired, that area seems to swell and I can’t breathe even more. During the day, if even a little nasal mucus collects inside my nose, one side gets blocked. I’m thinking of removing both the silicone and septal cartilage that were put inside my nose, but I’m so scared that if I even remove the support strut, something might go wrong and that area might become even more blocked. I really have so many things I want to do and I want to live, but I’m so scared something will go wrong. It’s truly so hard. Also, is there anyone who has had part of their alar cartilage removed..? I’m curious whether I’m the only one who had that surgery in particular.. or whether other people commonly get it too.. Someone said that because part of the alar cartilage was removed, it may not be able to support the inferior turbinate? and that could be why breathing through the nose feels uncomfortable. So I wonder if it might be dangerous to remove the support strut.. I don’t know anything, so I’m really so frustrated, all kinds of thoughts come to mind, and I’ve been suffering so much for months. I honestly want to die. There are really so many things I want to do, so please, I just hope nothing happens after removal.
