9 years ago, I got rhinoplasty at a plastic surgery clinic I went to with my mom without any information, and I asked them to make it as natural as possible before having surgery I also had alar reduction together (it failed horribly, so both sides of my nose are a scar party^^) Back then, they only used silicone, right? I didn’t have the nasal tip done, only a 2 mm straight silicone implant! I didn’t love the shape, but I was scared of revision surgery, so I just lived with it. But recently, the skin at my nasal tip has become thinner than before and is very slightly showing white through the skin. I definitely didn’t have my nasal tip done, though. From then on I got anxious and searched here and there, and I wondered, what if they used an L-shaped silicone implant.. So I went to the hospital where I had the surgery. They said they inserted the 2 mm silicone long enough to reach the nasal tip and wrapped only the nasal tip with donated dermis (MegaDerm).. lol Even in 2016, I don’t think they did things like that, so why did they do this to me^^ Anyway, I’m in a mental breakdown after finding out that the hard thing in my nasal tip is silicone. But if possible, I really don’t want revision surgery,,? I’m so scared ㅠㅠ Is there anyone with a case like mine who just lives with it without revision surgery.. I don’t have inflammation, pain, or anything like that yet, and if it doesn’t cause contracture or break through the skin, I just want to live with it, but I’m curious about other people’s opinions,,, I’m attaching a photo. Is this level of show-through severe?
지으지징 I couldn’t tell if it was show-through because of the light ㅜ... It doesn’t really look like show-through though...??
메링이요 [@지으지징] Am I being too sensitive,,? Since I can feel the silicone at the nasal tip and feel that the skin has thinned, it bothers me ㅠ

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Complete removal after one month due to nasal inflammation
I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 I’m deciding between Asan and RU! Has anyone had surgery at Asan?ˀ̣
My nose had inflammation, so everything has been removed, and I think there’s still a little inflammation left. Considering that, I feel like Asan might be the right choice, but I’m so torn because I don’t know if the shape will turn out pr
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Can contracture also occur with implant-free autologous costal cartilage?
