During full nose implant removal, do they discard the septal cartilage? Or reinforce with it?! What should be done?

After going for a consultation about full nose implant removal, I became curious. About 12 years ago, I had silicone, septal extension, and ear cartilage done. If I end up getting a full nose implant removal, is it better to place the septal cartilage next to its original position to reinforce it, or do they just discard it? If they place it back next to the original position, or more precisely, not exactly the original position but to the side, they said there could be a foreign-body sensation.
