As you can tell right away from the photos, it was a hump nose, but it was congenitally deviated, so from the side it looked bent, and from the front it looked crooked. Honestly, my wish was just to straighten this nose into a straight line. I wasn’t even hoping for hump improvement or a higher nose. (The rhinitis was the same haha) But once I actually started looking into nose surgery, it felt like a huge surgery, not a surgery everyone gets, and I thought it would be major work, so I was vaguely scared.... Even now I don’t know what gave me the courage to go for a consultation, but the worry about nose surgery was biggest only up until right before the consultation. I don’t know if the place I went to was just good at consultations or if it’s usually like that, (I didn’t do much legwork, only searched online a lot) but after hearing all the explanations and the plan, and hearing roughly what I’d look like after surgery, the thought of “I’ve come this far anyway” got stronger, and the fear went away lolololol I had surgery without an implant, and for the nasal tip they used donated costal cartilage and septal cartilage. For function, I had deviated septum and rhinitis treated like this, and they were also really good at helping with the private insurance claim here. At first I was like, huh? because it was implant-free, but after actually getting the surgery, I’m sooooo satisfied. My deviated nose, hump nose, and rhinitis all improved completely lol They say there aren’t many cases where someone is this satisfied with their first surgery, but I’m really satisfied right now!
