My original nose was on the small and short side, but during my first surgery, the doctor lowered my columella too much, so my nose became really long, like Squidward’s nose People say it’s hard to turn a long nose into a short nose.. Is it also hard to make a nose that became longer from columella lowering short again? If they just remove things like the cartilage that was inserted to make it longer, can it become short like my natural nose??
furi For things like this, it usually seems possible to adjust little by little over time.
이하나둘셋 [@furi] They lowered the columella way too much, so I hope it can be reduced a lot. I’m worried
haruholic How do they make something small and short longer…?? (Actually, that’s the hard part) I don’t think the nose itself got longer; like you already know, the columella probably came down too long, so I think you can ask them to adjust it based on that. But it means you’d need revision surgery…
이하나둘셋 [@haruholic] If the columella came down, can it be lifted back up easily?

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 20 If 18-year-old nasal silicone has no inflammation or contracture, is it okay to remove only the silicone through a closed approach?
I had it done when I was young, in my teens, and I went with my mom, so I know silicone was inserted, but I have no memory at all of how it was inserted, whether it was I-shaped or L-shaped. I only remember that they made an incision…
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 20 I can't breathe after surgery

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 20 For people who developed contracture without inflammation, what did you do for your nasal bridge?
I’m exactly 7 months post-op, and I had silicone 445 for the nasal bridge, ear cartilage for the nasal tip, bulbous nose correction osteotomy, nostril reduction, and hump shaving. Even my natural nose was one where the nostrils didn’t…
