Gender: Male Year of birth: 1981 Occupation: Rental business Plastic surgery history: Ptosis surgery Height: 176 Weight: 67 Blood type: B
In October 2014, I suddenly developed hereditary hair loss + acute hair loss from stress, and I was losing about 100 hairs a day. I thought maybe it was because my weight had gone over 80 kg, so I dieted, lost 15 kg in one year, and now I’m back to normal. But I still faithfully take 10 pills a day, including hair-loss medication, vitamins, and other supposedly good supplements.
When the hair loss came, maybe because I had gained weight, aging seemed to hit quickly, and my eyes also started drooping severely. People already told me I looked sleepy, my field of vision was narrow so I developed astigmatism, and whenever I walked outside, I would easily trip over things. It was part of daily life for my arms and legs to get caught on things and get injured.
So while treating the hair loss, I had ptosis surgery in December. Originally I had the surgery because my ptosis was severe. But my eyes became uneven. As you can tell from the fact that only my right eyebrow was originally higher, they said I had gotten into a lot of fights, so the muscles around my right eye were badly injured, which made my eyes uneven.
In the end, while having ptosis surgery, my inner double eyelid changed into an outer double eyelid, and the double eyelid became too thick, like a sausage. People tease me asking if I had double-eyelid surgery, and because the surgery made me look feminine, they tease me saying I look like a woman.
It has been almost 2 years since the surgery. At first my right eye had a double-layered double eyelid, then it became sausage-like, and now the double eyelid is starting to droop. On top of that, maybe the inner double eyelid on my left eye has loosened, because it has drooped and looks very obviously operated on.
At the outer corners of both eyes too, after fat was removed during the ptosis surgery, maybe there is empty space left, because the skin is sagging and the eye corners are drooping.
Before the surgery, I only looked at function and had surgery just to resolve the ptosis, but after surgery, what happened? The function recovered, but my eyes became round and feminine, so I am actually under more psychological stress than before the surgery.
Whether I’m standing in front of a traffic light or wherever I go, whenever people look at me, men, whether they know me or not, say things like this.
People who don’t say much when they’re with someone else always do it when I’m alone: that I look like a woman, that I must think I’m a celebrity, that it’s obvious I had plastic surgery. Does a man really have to go as far as getting plastic surgery? Wow~ pretty, did you even cut off your penis? A young guy only cares about looking flashy. Looks gay. Annoying. F***.
Men openly curse at me like the above.
There have been many times when I went out drinking, heard those things from the next table, and almost got into a fight. This is so uncomfortable I can’t live like this. Even when I take the bus or subway, it feels like I can only hear people talking about me. He looks like a foreigner.~ Is that a man or a woman? It’s hard for a man to end up looking that feminine.~
Now I feel like I’m really developing neurosis. Because of this, I’m gradually distancing myself from people, and the time I spend going outside is decreasing. My friends say, just enjoy the attention.~ They’re jealous~ Those people don’t have money, so they can’t even get ptosis surgery.~
But women like it, don’t they?
Yes.. I got 4 stalkers too. They camp out in front of my house every day. Two high school girls, two older women. The two older women even came all the way to my front door and knocked, and it gave me chills. So I bought and moved into a newly built villa with surveillance cameras at the communal entrance and double locks, but maybe someone spread the word, because they find me.
It’s driving me completely crazy..-- Even if I report stalkers, I heard it’s only a minor offense with a 100,000 won fine, and I’m scared that if I report them, more rumors will spread. Am I being sensitive? When other people are talking about someone else, am I mistakenly thinking they’re talking about me?
If only one or two people said those things, they would be the problem, but if it has reached the point where I even have stalkers, then this is my problem. I don’t work at a company or have a social life; I only occasionally buy meals and go to the gym. If it’s like this even then, a normal social life would be hard, right?
Couldn’t this also be considered a kind of plastic surgery failure? A man should look masculine, but I ended up with feminine eyes and started attracting attention. ㅜㅜ
Please, if anyone knows a hospital where revision surgery is possible, please recommend one.ㅜㅜ If this fails even more and I look even more feminine, I really might go crazy from the stress.
I had the surgery on Christmas 2014, so it has now been 1 year and 8 months. Please have mercy on me. Bow. (__)
