I had full-incision double eyelid surgery and posterior canthoplasty at Daejeon GNB, now Seoul KYYT, and it was a complete failure.
The double eyelids were totally sausage-like, the red mucous membrane showed from the posterior canthoplasty, and the outer corner shape was either ㄷ-shaped or rounded.
For almost 2 years, I really wore a hat every day and couldn’t even wear makeup.
Then I gave up and went around for 3 years without a hat, bare-faced.
I thought I couldn’t live like this, and decided I would never do it in Daejeon again, so first I searched hard online. I excluded all information from plastic surgery clinic cafes, comments, and so on, because there are so many plastic surgery ads that I couldn’t trust them.
So I mainly looked at before-and-after photos on clinic websites.
Then I narrowed it down to Seoul NY Clinic and Seoul SY Clinic as hospitals specializing in posterior canthoplasty reconstruction.
But the before-and-after photos on the Seoul SY Clinic website looked better, so I went for a consultation first. As expected, it seemed like a clinic with confidence. Other clinics don’t charge a consultation fee, but this place charged quite a bit.
The consultation method was different from other doctors at other clinics, and they asked a lot about the patient’s thoughts, like what I was worried about and what bothered me the most... Other clinics just have the doctor saying on their own, you can do this and this...
After that, they said double eyelids didn’t suit me and that creating double eyelids made me look awkward, so they suggested just undoing them, and I did. I also hated the sausage look so much that I agreed to just undo them, and of course I had reconstruction for the posterior canthoplasty.
But after doing it, it really turned out so well!!
I’m completely satisfied.
