I had really been under a lot of stress because of rhinitis, and honestly, regarding the shape of my nose, I wasn’t stressed about it that much like it was a major complex. If I had been told to just get nose surgery, considering the cost, the columellar scar, and even the recovery period, I would have thought, do I really need to? But I was planning to have rhinitis surgery anyway, and if I was going to have rhinitis surgery anyway, I would need some recovery time and a columellar incision would be necessary, so I think it started with the thought that, while I was at it, maybe I could improve the parts that bothered me a little. Since I thought I was having surgery anyway, human nature is... cosmetic desires start to come up little by little too. But there are also people around me and how they might see it, and I had absolutely no intention of going around advertising that I had surgery, so I wanted only the exact parts I had in mind improved naturally. (Going up too dramatically and glamorously didn’t suit my image, and I felt it didn’t match the direction I was pursuing either.) It took a really long time to find a hospital that could match all of these points, but I’m relieved that, since it took so long to find, I’m really satisfied with the surgical result. The shape of my nose improved exactly in a way that wasn’t too noticeable, and all the areas I wanted were improved, and my rhinitis was completely and cleanly improved. I didn’t know breathing could be this comfortable,, it really is comfortable. If you have rhinitis and a slight concern with your nose, even if it’s not the hospital I went to, I recommend trying functional rhinoplasty.
