Before surgery, the tip of my nose was really blunt, and maybe because of that, my impression seemed a bit stuffy-looking, and I was also bothered by how spread out my nostrils were, you know?! So I looked around here and there, and people said that in my case, it could definitely be improved enough with rhinoplasty, so I decided to have surgery. After going to consultations and successfully getting the surgery, I’m writing a review to mark the occasion~~ I originally tended to have frequent nasal congestion too, so I thought it would be better to do functional rhinoplasty at the same time. I looked into hospitals that were good at both cosmetic + functional rhinoplasty and went around for consultations, and Livian’s consultation was so kind. Whenever they recommended how it would be best to decide the surgical direction, they also explained in detail why they recommended operating that way, so I felt more trust and got it done there. The hospital said that in my case, I already had a bit of a nasal bridge, so the look I wanted would be fully possible without implants. And when considering other reasons too, they said that because my skin is thin, there could be an issue with implant visibility in a case like mine, so they did not really recommend an implant. So I chose no implant without much hesitation, and thankfully it came out so pretty in the shape the hospital planned during the consultation. Right now, the height of my nose is exactly my taste hahaha And since nostril flaring and nasal congestion were also among the issues I really wanted to improve, I got nostril reduction + functional rhinoplasty together. My nostrils improved naturally, and functionally, I no longer feel any discomfort when breathing or anything, so it’s so comfortable. Especially, my nasal congestion noticeably decreased!! As expected with rhinoplasty, there was some swelling right after surgery, but every time I went to the hospital for follow-up checks, they guided me well, and I followed the care instructions and went on lots of walks, so it went down pretty quickly hahaha I was also surprised because I got quite a lot reimbursed after handling the indemnity insurance claim the way the hospital told me lol... Overall, I feel like I had a very satisfying surgery, so I’m writing this review hehe For everyone else who is still looking into cosmetic functional rhinoplasty, I hope you also look into it carefully and get surgery somewhere you feel confident will do both cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty well!!
