Review of non-incisional ptosis correction + buried suture double eyelid + epicanthoplasty.. I think time is the medicine.

I wrote this on my phone, so I’m not sure how it will look...

The photos are in order:

Before At two months The last two are the most recent.

Please understand even if they’re hard to look at... . . .

I had non-incisional ptosis correction with buried suture double eyelid surgery, and epicanthoplasty as well.

People said swelling goes down in two months,

so I believed that and had the surgery, but I went through a really hard time emotionally.

It has been about 9 months for me now, and only now is it starting to settle.

Of course, I can’t be the same as everyone else...

But I compared myself to a friend who had the same surgery around the same time...

I thought all sorts of things, like it was ruined and I looked better before lol.

My boyfriend and family told me to wait, that it would be okay if I waited,

but how is that easy...

I’m not lying, for months I looked in the mirror all day long.

Then at some point, I started to see the swelling going down.

I had heard that double eyelid surgery looks different every month,

and looking at my photos in date order, I could really tell.

I used to whine that the correction seemed too excessive and post about it,

then get scared someone might recognize me and delete it right away..

But to the point where I wonder why I worried like that,

the swelling really suddenly went down from a certain point.

I drank pumpkin juice, took walks, drank lots of water,

and the swelling that wouldn’t go down even with those efforts disappeared once time passed.

One side had mucosal eversion, so I thought it must be overcorrection and wondered if I should have it loosened,

but that worry disappeared too.

I searched through Q&A sites and looked through every review I could find here,

and it feels like the reward for waiting while telling myself, yes, mine will come down too.

At first, I didn’t hear a single person say it was pretty,

but these days my friends tell me it looks natural now and pretty.

My boyfriend had opposed the surgery too, but now he says I look much prettier now. haha

It varies case by case, but... if anyone is worried right now because of swelling..

Try to relax and wait while doing everything you need to do..

For swelling, time really is the medicine...

They say the weather is getting cold, so please take care of your health...

Thank you for reading.
