Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Finally! I got complete removal!!!!

Original nose -> bulbous nose. Nasal bridge was slightly wide

First surgery March 2014: silicone 2.5 (nasal bridge was rasped), osteotomy of both side bones, septal support strut, cartilage tying, fat removal Revision surgery September 2014: lifting the columella, only rasped the area that had been osteotomized on the right side, tied the cartilage once more, removed scar tissue

Both surgeries were done at the same hospital. Results were not good. The doctor acknowledged it too. After several months of fighting? with the hospital legal team (not a lawsuit), we agreed on removal surgery + refund of 70% of the cost.

Decided to have removal done at another hospital. Consultations I went to: ㅇㅁㅇㅍㅁ/ㅅㅈ/ㅍㄹㅁ. I also had the surgery at one of these three places.

They shaped and inserted the septal support strut into the nasal bridge, and because it was a bulbous nose, they said it seemed okay not to untie the cartilage, so they didn’t untie it. They removed scar tissue / smoothed out the bumpy areas on both side bones. They didn’t make the sedation anesthesia strong ㅠㅠ I felt everything when they were smoothing the bone. I had the surgery while talking in a slightly half-conscious state.. It has only been 2 hours since surgery and I still have the splint on, so I don’t have a sense of the shape yet, but the nasal tip still seems to look long and high. They minimized bleeding as much as possible, so there’s no cotton inside my nose. I’m going to have the splint removed the day after tomorrow. I’ll write another review.

I think many people will ask which hospital did the removal, so I’ll write it here. I did it at the last hospital among those three~ ㅅㅈ also felt trustworthy, but the last hospital was the one that said they would do it in the direction I wanted most^^ The consultation time was honestly so short that I was flustered, but.. It’s best to go in person and get a consultation. The price was also 1.2 million won with the April removal event price. When I looked it up, they seemed to hold removal events quite often, as if they were trying to establish themselves as a removal hospital. Please go get consultations at various places yourself and choose the surgical method that suits you best~ I don’t know what the shape will be like after I remove the splint... Please just use this as reference.
