7 years ago, I had surgery with L-shaped silicone inserted all the way to the nasal tip, and a little ear cartilage was overlaid so it would not show through. Before surgery, it was not severe, but my nostrils were slightly visible. With the silicone inserted, that was slightly improved, so my nostrils showed less, and although my nose shape was high, I lived fairly satisfied with it. But I could not make a pig nose, and because my nose was hard, I became self-conscious when people touched it. When being affectionate with my boyfriend, the hard nose bothered me too, and my skin gradually became thinner so the cartilage showed through, so I decided I needed to remove it. I spent almost half a year looking around in this community and thinking it over, then had consultations, and eventually got it removed. It has been 10 days since removal now, and whether this is fortunate or whether the contraction period just has not come yet, really only the silicone height has gone down and the shape is the same~ My friends say they cannot tell what changed at all, and that removing it was better because it looks more naturalㅠㅠ Then what becomes of my 7 years;;;; I was very worried right up until just before removal too, wondering what if contracture happens, what if my nose turns up a lot, but I really think it is fortunateㅜㅜ But I am wondering if this is because the contraction period has not come yetㅜㅜ I am worried whether it will turn up when the contraction period comesㅜㅜㅜ Are there people whose nose did not turn up until around 10 days after surgery but suddenly turned up after 2 weeks???
The first photo is when I had the silicone. The second is after removing only the silicone.
