Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Day 2 after removal surgery, a very long review

I’m finally leaving my removal review too ㅜㅜ For 6 months, I lived just reading reviews in this community,  and finally...

Originally, I was going to remove it at 4 and a half to 5 months, but I ended up waiting the full 6 months before removal.

(Personally, since removal surgery means there are no implants left inside the nose, I thought the nose shape after removal would depend on my body’s recovery ability.. so to get even a slightly better result, I followed the basic rule(?) of waiting at least! 6 months after surgery.)

I had surgery with silicone on the nasal bridge, ear cartilage for the nasal tip + support strut, and cartilage tying..

Over the 6 months, I went to a lot of consultations here and there. I went constantly to the place where I originally had surgery.. and to the hospitals of a few people who had left reviews in this community, plus several hospitals famous for revision surgery.. In the end, because of cost, I went to a place that was affordable and where the consultation was good.

At other hospitals, when I said I wanted removal, they asked what I didn’t like, but here, as soon as I went in, they immediately picked up on the parts I was unhappy with.

Anyway, so far I’m quite satisfied. The swelling is enormous and I can’t even see much because of the taping, but they are taking very meticulous care of me after surgery ㅠ

The surgery was done under sedation. But this hospital sedated me rather lightly. My mind was hazy, but I could hear the music and everything the director was saying. Then from the middle onward, I completely woke up and had the surgeryㅋㅋㅋ It was a bit scary, but not using deep sedation is actually better for the body.. so...ㅜ

As soon as the surgery ended, the director asked which hospital I had it done at. When I answered, they said, “A lot of people are coming from there lately”ㅋㅋㅋ Chills.

The original place I went to was known online for doing natural-looking work well, and the doctor was a board-certified plastic surgeon. The director’s and staff’s attitudes were not great, but I still thought they must have surgical skill, yet apparently they had done a total mess of a job. They still seem to be doing great business, honestly..ㅋㅋㅋ

My original nose wasn’t very low, but they said the surgery had involved a lot of very complicated manipulation. They had put in a lot of cartilage too; They said it seemed like they had rummaged around a lot during the first surgery, so the blood vessels were a mess, and that I probably bled a lot during the first surgery too. (Yes, I did bleed a lot ㅠㅠ enough for the gauze to get soaked.) They said I bled a lot today too, so I would swell a lot and really had to take good care of it, and they emphasized it repeatedly. And they said in the previous surgery, they had cut some cartilage, maybe the alar cartilage, and tied it very tightly.. Still, they said they straightened the cartilage, so it should go back to my old nose, but hearing that cartilage had already been cut ㅜㅜ makes me feel bad.. I guess I have to watch the results....

After surgery, because it was taped, only the nasal tip was visible, and it looked extremely pale. So I asked the staff, and they said it was because of the anesthesia, and if I was worried, to take a photo of the nasal tip and send it 2 hours later. When I got home, this time it was really red ㅠㅜ So I took a photo and sent it, and they called me right awayㅋㅋㅋ After that, the director also called, talked with me, and said if I felt anxious, I should visit the hospital tomorrow, so today I went in for disinfection and got a hemostatic injection.

Because my nose had more manipulation than expected, I bled a lot and maybe because of that, they took even more meticulous care of me ㅜㅜ The staff asked me to take and send a photo of my nose as soon as I woke up in the morning.. I was very anxious after surgery, but they kept checking on me first, so I was really touched.

It’s still hard to say what the nose shape is likeㅜㅜ I’m just hoping it goes back to the way it was... For now, I’m leaving this review~ I’ll leave another review after removing the taping.
