Hello~ About 6 months ago, I had eye and nose surgery in Busan. For my eyes, I had ptosis correction and double eyelid surgery, and for my nose, since I had a slightly hump nose, I had cartilage tying for the nasal tip and 4 mm silicone placed on the bridge. The problem is that my eyes turned out really natural with no obvious surgery look, but my nose is the problem.. When it was first inserted, it looked like the silicone had been placed diagonally in my nose, so I was worried, but the doctor said I had to wait 6 months for the swelling to go down before knowing.. Now it’s almost been the full 6 months, and my nose has no visible silicone mark when seen from the left, but when seen from the right, the silicone mark appears as a large straight line.. When I touch it, it feels like the flesh rises up and then only the silicone sticks out prominently, and that area also has deep, dark shadowing, so it stands out even more.. So I’m worried whether I should have revision surgery or remove the silicone..
What I’m curious about is that I heard procedures that put implants into the nose eventually have to be removed someday because inflammation develops or they become noticeable.. And even with autologous dermis, if the shape becomes strange, removal is difficult, so that could be risky too.. I also saw posts saying you should absolutely, absolutely never get nose surgery.. So I’m struggling.. Should I get revision surgery or remove the silicone.. I paid about 2 million won for this nose.. The silicone is curved, and to anyone it seems like the doctor did something wrong.. But according to the doctor, my nasal bridge was originally crooked, so no matter how straight he inserts the silicone, the silicone follows the shape of the nasal bridge and curves.. He says there’s nothing that can be done, and that to fix it they would have to cut my original nasal bridge and straighten it, but that would make the surgery itself too big.. He asked if I really wanted to become prettier while taking that much risk.. That’s what he said.. When I listen to it, it also feels like the doctor may be right.. Ha.. What should I do..? Is there anyone who has had about 4 mm silicone inserted and has lived perfectly fine for over 10 years or over 20 years?
