I had surgery 8 years ago with silicone and ear cartilage, and because the silicone was showing through, I had only the silicone removed on Monday. I went on Wednesday and had the splint removed. The clinic told me to come today, but I didn’t have time, so I decided to go on Monday, and just remove the taping at home. I removed the taping today, and as expected, the nasal bridge is ㅠㅠ The glabella also looks wide. Like when you look at babies, they don’t have a nasal bridge and the glabella is wide...... After removing the splint, while the taping was still on, when I touched the nasal bridge, it felt soft and cushiony, whether it was capsule or flesh, and I could feel bone underneath. There was space above the bone. When sleeping, just in case, I used medical tape I had at home to apply a bit more pressure to the nasal bridge and nasal tip, excluding the glabella, so I don’t know if that’s why, but today after removing the taping and touching it, the glabella still feels soft and cushiony, whether it’s swelling, capsule, or scar tissue, but on the nasal bridge and nasal tip, I can feel the bone right away. I guess it went down already. I wanted it to last a bit longer. Also, since it had been a long time since the surgery, I thought it would take longer than others for the capsule to be absorbed ㅠㅠ It’s disappointing. I hope at least the glabella goes down a little more slowly haha So far, my nostrils haven’t become visible or lifted. But for those who had only silicone removed~~ Does the nasal tip also swell? ㅠㅠ There’s a cherry-tomato-like swelling.... does it go down, and how long does it take?
