It’s been over a year since my surgery. Please see if it looks obvious. What I still remember is that during the surgery, it didn’t hurt, but the feeling of the thread being pulled was scaryㅠㅠ Other than that, it was hard when my eyes were bloodshot, and after that I think I had a pulling sensation for more than a month. After that, I don’t think there were any problems. I had a scar left from a previous epicanthoplasty, but they said it wasn’t severe enough to need restoration and that I only needed a dermal graft for the scar, so I got a dermal graft. The scar almost disappeared, and the feeling that it looked split open also decreased. A lot of people say lateral canthoplasty has no effect, and in photos there isn’t a huge difference, but overall I often hear that my eyes look bigger. They said there wasn’t much room to widen in the first place, and I did it because they said it would improve my fierce-looking impression, so I’m fairly satisfied. How does it look at first glance? Does it look obvious? Personally, I recommend lateral canthoplasty if you have a fierce-looking impression. And if you’re planning to get epicanthoplasty, do it somewhere that prevents scarring well. Don’t go through the trouble of trying to get rid of scars like I did.
