When I wrote that post, I really wanted to die every single day. hahaha Actually... I had so much attachment to life... I knew I would never actually be able to die. lol
Time has passed... and before I knew it, I’m almost 6 months post-op.. The funny thing is.. as time passes, in my own way... my mind stabilizes.. and settles down.
I’m not just ordinarily sensitive... even among all the members of this cafe... I’m probably a sensitive person in the top 0.1%...
But.. if even I have found this much stability.... then maybe.. for those who are not long after surgery right now... whose surgery failed... and who are sobbing..
One of the most effective prescriptions is the medicine called ‘time’..
I wondered when time would ever pass.. but time has passed like this.
Actually... I saved a D-day countdown on my phone.. and around now, it should have been the time for me to go around for revision rhinoplasty consultations.
For now, I’ve temporarily put that on hold....
It’s true that they made the shape a mess.. but what I hated most was the pinched-nose feeling.. and as time passes..
It feels like that is... very slightly... easing... I think it may be because the internal tissues are loosening as the scar tissue softens.
The upturned-nose feeling has also come down a little... I had surgery using both septal cartilage and ear cartilage... and I’m a case where I had an additional surgery to lower the nasal tip after just 2 weeks.. so I think it will probably take longer than others for my nose to fully relax.
It’s almost been 6 months.. but my nasal tip is... still completely hard... the upper part has become almost natural, with the skin gaining elasticity,
but the nasal tip still has a numb feeling.
They say the more revision surgeries you have.... the higher the chance that the condition of the nose gets worse.
The more you touch it.. scar tissue forms... and capsular contracture also forms.... and hospitals that, during revision surgery, delicately release and remove each of those one by one
are not that many... -.- Even if they say they release all of it... the chance of returning to the nose I want also decreases... and the result too.
is a matter of luck.
For the next year, I’m thinking of watching the condition... and if it improves a bit more, maybe I’ll just live like this. lol.. Right after surgery, I absolutely
couldn’t have imagined I would think this way... Have I become a saint? lol
Because of aging and sagging from having had facial contouring surgery a long time ago, I’m now going around for consultations to maybe get lifting. haha
For those struggling because of your nose.. I want to cheer you on and say please don’t despair.
And.. there are many things that only I can see.. Other people don’t see my nose as a disabled nose the way I do. haha
I’m the only one seeing my nose as if I’m looking through a magnifying glass....
