I had it done around January 2014 at a place on Dongseong-ro in Daegu, and I went there because the director was someone my relative knew. Thinking about it now, I regret itㅠㅠ My aunt feels sorry too. I think it would have been better if I had looked into it a bit more and just gone somewhere else. I had silicone for the nasal bridge + ear cartilage for the nasal tip, but after the first surgery, a lot of blood pooled, so it swelled up a lot. I went to the hospital and had the blood drawn out maybe twice? Back then I was so stressed that I don’t even have photos. There had been blood pooling, and I’m originally the type who swells easily, so it stayed very swollen for several months. Fortunately, I didn’t have to remove the silicone or anything. As I just lived with it, the swelling all went down, but what do you know, the silicone shifted crooked, so my nose looks crooked and like a spread-out nose. From the side, it does look higher than my original nose, but because the silicone is bent to the right, from the front my nose looks even lower than before I got it raised, and even from a 45-degree angle, one side is low and the other side is strangely high. The doctor closed his clinic and moved to a bigger hospital. I went to see him in 2015, and he said he wasn’t really sure; but if I was going to have surgery, he would do it again, and this time he was confident, something like that. Maybe because he had moved hospitals, he asked for an extra 1 million won. At that time, I didn’t have time for surgery either, so it just kind of got put off and I kept living like that. This time, I have some free time to get surgery. I’m planning to go see the original doctor one more time, but since he is the doctor who already messed it up once, I honestly don’t really trust him. I’m debating whether to pay more and have it done at another hospital. My nose was small and low, but it wasn’t an extremely ugly nose, so I wish I had just lived with it. I’ve been stressed for 3 years now. I also had incisional double eyelid surgery in high school, and one side came undone, so I had it redone at the same hospital, but I wasn’t this stressed then. Even if I do it again, I don’t know whether it will turn out well.
Everyone, I really hope you don’t do it if you can avoid it. If you do, please look into it very carefully and make the right choice!
