I had my fourth nose surgery not long ago. The first one was when I was entering university as a freshman, a silicone implant surgery my mom paid for. Back then, just because my mom said she would get it done for me, I thought I would become prettier and followed along... .. I had revision surgery in my third year of university. They said they would put the silicone a bit deeper and raise the nasal tip with cartilage... But the result was even worse... Then I just gave up on my appearance and lived like that, and in my early 30s, when I removed the silicone from the nasal bridge, they said something like if the nasal tip cartilage was removed, the nasal tip would collapse, so I left only the tip suturing and cartilage in place and removed only the silicone. .. The area where the cartilage had been raised and the area where the silicone was removed had a very obvious boundary, but I thought, let's just live with it.., and I was doing okay, but not long ago, I don't know what got into me again, and I had a fourth revision surgery.. Removing the cartilage in the nasal tip and building up the nasal bridge with fascia... It has been a little over a month now, and the nasal tip is okay right now. It has become a bit hard and there is still a little swelling, but it's okay.. During the third surgery, the doctor said the cartilage would collapse if removed and all that, but it's really fine.. But I raised the nasal bridge with fascia.. I really asked them so many times to raise it only very slightly.. but maybe the doctor's aesthetic viewpoint and mine are different.. It is too high.. My nose was originally flat and broad.. when there was no silicone, it was okay because the bridge was not pointy.. But now a pointy nasal bridge has been built on a broad, flat nose.. And it is too high... My mom saw it and said, after hating silicone so much and removing it, why did you go and get something put in again.. ㅠㅠㅠ I went to the doctor and asked them to remove the fascia again.. and they said fascia can be absorbed up to 50%.. and told me to endure it for just 2 months.. When I asked around here and there.. some say fascia all gets absorbed, others say no, once it takes, absorption does not happen, others say no, fascia only contracts and does not get absorbed... Opinions are divided.. The hospital says if I really cannot stand it, they will remove it, but I am so scared that if I remove it, I might get contracture or something.. On top of that, I wonder if it is already taking.. Until a few days ago it moved a little from side to side, but from yesterday and today it no longer moves side to side.. If tissue integration progresses, it will be harder to remove.. and when I think that contracture could come after removal like Gore-Tex, I am really scared. But if they open the nose with an open approach and open it again to remove it, I worry whether scar tissue will form.. Right now I have stopped all social activities and am shut inside the house, only looking at my nose and only searching about noses.. Please, people with experience, please help me..
