I had removal surgery on Friday due to various factors, including redness at the nasal tip caused by the septal cartilage support. Previously, I had hump nose osteotomy and a support built with ear cartilage and septal cartilage, and only the nasal tip was raised, so I did not have silicone or anything like that. Fortunately, everything was removed through the inside of the nose with a closed approach. It is the second day, and strangely, aside from my eyes feeling dry and stiff and some mild pain, there is no bruising and no swelling. The taping will be removed next week. I just feel relieved. I had it done at the hospital where I had the surgery.
