It’s already been 5 months since I had double-jaw surgery. Since I was young, I had severe malocclusion and asymmetry, so I had a lot of stressㅜㅜ I was self-conscious when taking photos, and I was also aware of the shape of my mouth when talking with people..! At first there was a lot of swelling and it was hard to adjust, but now I’ve completely returned to daily life. Friends I hadn’t seen in a while said my image changed so much they almost didn’t recognize me, and they complimented me, saying I look prettyㅎㅎㅎ The asymmetry I used to worry about every time I looked in the mirror has now almost disappeared, my jawline has become smoother, and my side profile has become so pretty that my satisfaction is really high~!ㅎㅎ During the first few months, the swelling varied a lot between morning and evening, but now only minor residual swelling remains, and it isn’t noticeable at all. People around me also often say I look natural now, so I feel good. More than anything, before, I used to care a lot about angles when taking photos, but now even when I just take them casually, they all come out pretty, so I’m so happyㅎㅎ My sensation has almost all returned, and I’ve started orthodontic treatment too, so my tooth line is gradually getting prettier^^ㅎㅎ I can eat everything well without discomfort, so now I’m really living no differently from before. At first I was scared and had many worries, but now I’m so, so satisfied. At 1 month and 2 months, it may feel like time isn’t passing, but by around 5 months, satisfaction is so high that you wonder, Why didn’t I do it sooner? Before, I was so stressed about malocclusion and asymmetry, but now I feel completely freed from that stress! If you’re considering double-jaw surgery, I really want to recommend it~!
