1-year review after two-jaw surgery

Title: Finally 1 year after two-jaw surgery..! Hello, I really think time goes by so fast. I can't believe it's already been over a year since surgery.. First, to tell you the conclusion, I absolutely do not regret two-jaw surgery! I'm actually even more satisfied, so even if I went back, I would do two-jaw surgery again. As in my preoperative photos, I had severe facial asymmetry and a slight protruding lower jaw, so it was always a complex for me. Naturally, my self-esteem was always low and I hated taking photosㅜㅜ When I first decided on surgery, everyone around me tried to stop me because the risks of two-jaw surgery are high. But since it had been such a stress for 20-something years, my desire to overcome this complex while I was even one year younger was bigger, so I decided on surgery with the mindset that even if I regretted it, I would regret it after trying. So after looking at many hospital reviews and going for consultations, I had two-jaw surgery and two types of contouring (square jaw, chin) at Waigugang last March haha After doing it, my face definitely became smaller, and maybe because I did the two contouring procedures, it became slimmer,, I was so satisfied. Even the people around me who tried to stop me all said it turned out really well haha If I had to pick a drawback, it's already been a year so my memory is hazy, but there was no postoperative pain at all. Rather, my nose was blocked, so for a few days I couldn't sleep lying down properly and had trouble breathing, which I think was the biggest issue. And as the director and consultant explained before surgery, since the bone that originally supported it was gone, the soft tissue that had been there sags little by little..? So I'm consistently managing it at home with a lifting device! But the advantages are much bigger than those minor drawbacks, so I'm completely satisfiedㅜㅜ They say pin removal is easier if done within 1 year after surgery, but I've been short on time lately, so I haven't done pin removal yet.. According to the director, pin removal is same-day discharge, finishes much faster than two-jaw surgery, and swelling goes down very quickly, so there shouldn't be any problem returning to daily life right away. Looking at reviews, it seems split half and half. Some say you should remove the pins, and some say you don't really need to, but considering MRI scans later and the future, I think pin removal should be done, so I will definitely make time within this year to remove them!
