After Two-Jaw Surgery, People Don't Recognize Me lol

My lower face had been a complex for a long time. Every time I took photos, I was self-conscious about my face shape I disliked having my side profile show, so I even felt uncomfortable when someone stood next to me. Naturally, my confidence dropped too, and because I had many memories of being teased about my jaw since childhood, I was always stressed. After thinking about surgery, I ultimately decided to have two-jaw surgery and two types of facial contouring, square jaw and front chin, at Y Oral, and somehow 3 months have already passed. The biggest change after surgery is my chewing habit. In the past, I couldn't chew on the left side at all, but now I can freely use both sides. Also, I used to be bothered because I always had to go around with my mouth open, but now I can keep my mouth closed naturally, so it is much more comfortable. During recovery, I couldn't eat proper food for a month right after surgery, so I lost as much as 10 kg and had many days with no energy. Still, after hearing that recovery was important, I tried to eat as many different foods as possible that I could manage. Fortunately, as time passed, I gradually adjusted, and now at 3 months, my weight has almost returned to normal. I can eat most foods now, and recently I was even able to eat a hamburger that requires opening the mouth wide without much difficulty. I am really satisfied with the surgical results. There is almost no discomfort, and compared with before surgery, daily life has become much more comfortable. However, opening my mouth wide still doesn't feel completely natural, so I think I need a little more practice. Still, I expect it will gradually get better with time. I was told that swelling needs to be monitored up to 6 months after surgery, so I am steadily drinking pumpkin juice as well to help recovery. The reactions around me were also better than expected. After being discharged from the military, I returned to school, and many people couldn't recognize me. Especially hearing a lot that there were no surgical scars left and that the change looked natural made me even more satisfied. Currently, I have fully returned to daily life. I started school life again, and now that 3 months have passed, I can drink alcohol too, so I feel much freer. As I have started working out again, my stamina is gradually recovering. I am still wearing braces, so my teeth are a little uncomfortable, but I think the surgery was such a good choice that this much is completely bearable. haha
