After the long, long weekend passed, I finally had the tape and external stitches removed today. I was really worried, but the shape is better than I expected. From the front, the nostrils, nasal lobule, and bridge are all generally bulky. From the side, the bridge is much lower, but the nasal tip is a bit upturned and still feels a little high and bulkyㅋㅋㅋㅋ My friends say it’s cuteㅋㅋ I asked the director whether the nasal tip still hadn’t fully deswelled yet... He said of course the swelling hasn’t gone down yet because it’s only been 6 days since surgery.. and that everything was definitely removed, so I should now live without worrying. (I had said I wanted removal because my personality is very sensitive.) His last words put my mind at easeㅋㅋㅋ
After stitch removal, DuoDERM is attached, but the open-incision scar is still severe.. My skin doesn’t heal wounds well, so will it improve quickly if I apply scar ointment?
For 5 years, I really worried and agonized about what my condition would be like after removal surgery, and I got a lot of help searching in this communityㅜㅜ I think it’s the community with the most people considering removal. It’s only been 6 days since removal surgery, but once the swelling goes down, doesn’t it seem like it’ll go back to being similar to before nose surgery?ㅎㅎㅎ I hope my review helps those who are considering removal surgery.
