I had a septal support and nasal bridge no-plant? (cartilage was ground up and placed on top so it would adhere) removed.
After the surgery, not a single person noticed, and I removed it simply because of a foreign-body sensation. Complete removal.
After removal, the swelling is severe right now. There is some bruising too. Maybe it is because they scraped out what had adhered. But the problem is that it seems lower than my original nasal bridge. My original nasal bridge was not a low nose, but now it seems like a low nose. Of course, because I have taping on and swelling, I cannot check for sure, but when I press on the bridge of my nose, it feels soft and squishy, and I have to press for quite a while before I can feel bone.. Once all this swelling goes down, will my nose become as low as the amount I pressed?? Or is there a possibility it will be filled in with scar tissue.. I am curious whether it lowers a lot as the swelling goes down.
