I had LASEK surgery at ㅎㄴㅇㄱㅇㅇ. It was a factory-style clinic, so they didn’t ask if I wanted to choose a doctor, and I don’t remember who it was, only that it was a man. I had astigmatism too, and my eyesight was very bad, around -6. I had worn contact lenses for about 10 years. When I first went, I couldn’t have the surgery because there was a scratch on my cornea, and I had the surgery after about a week of additional care. I think I was unusually in a lot of pain.... Maybe because it was LASEK... When I came out after surgery, I couldn’t open my eyes, so I was supported and got into my family’s car. For about 3 days, I couldn’t do anything at all and barely managed to play radio YouTube, kept the blackout curtains closed, put in several types of eye drops 4 times a day, and my eyes were so swollen that I mostly just slept ㅠ I thought, is this what Naruto’s Amaterasu feels like? But from about day 5, it became bearable, and even then I followed the hospital’s instructed period and timing for the medications well. When going out, sunglasses were mandatory. *Sunglasses are unavoidable. Even the lights from passing cars dazzled my eyes. During the first 3 to 6 months, if my physical condition was bad or I overworked, my vision would suddenly drop and my field of vision would become cloudy, but now it doesn’t seem to be that bad. Above all, I can see well. When tested, it was about 1.0. My eyesight had been so bad, so I’m grateful even for this. I’m also driving well with no difficulty at all. Even remembering it now, it hurt incredibly badly, but it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done. I don’t remember the life of putting in and taking out contacts every day, cleaning them, wearing glasses, searching for them when they disappeared, and wiping them.
