I struggled with astigmatism and negative vision, and because my dry eye syndrome and corneal damage were severe, I had LASEK surgery. I had a hard time managing my cornea so it would meet the surgery conditions, but on the day of surgery my cornea did not tear, so I was able to have the operation. For those who are debating, get LASEK.. After surgery there is eye stinging and pain, but after 3 days it doesn’t hurt.. I’m so happy I don’t have to wear contacts or glasses.
