More than ten years ago, before double-jaw surgery was widely known, I had protruding-mouth surgery. These days, they correct facial asymmetry while doing double-jaw surgery, right? Back then, there was nothing like that. After double-jaw surgery, I wanted to take photos like crazy.... But... in reality, even though my mouth went in.. the asymmetry remained exactly as it was.
Still, I have no regrets. I looked like a Cro-Magnon, like I hadn’t evolved.
After double-jaw surgery, I could at least be treated like a person. Still, when I take photos, I know the asymmetry is severe, but in person, there are many cases where people don’t really notice.
In the end, I’ve hardly taken photos my whole life.
These days, when I go to plastic surgery clinics because of facial sagging, the clinic consultants say my facial asymmetry is severe and tell me to get double-jaw surgeryㅋㅋ
When I say, “But I already had double-jaw surgery?” they say it was done wrong and tell me to do it againㅋㅋㅋ It’s not a surgery I ever want to have again~~ Side effects can happen with any surgery, but... In my case... when I’m tired or not feeling well, I sometimes get pain in my gums or teeth... And my lower jaw, which has an implant at the tip of the chin... has regained a lot of sensation, but... even if rice grains stick to it, I don’t notice, and I often just happily chew away. Because the sensation is dull, I don’t know when something is stuck there.
I think with any cosmetic surgery, as a lot of time passes, side effects become more and more apparent. When you’re young and fresh... aftereffects that were less noticeable can show up more as you get older~^^
Still, I don’t want to go back to that time when I was ignored and looked down on...
Excessive cosmetic surgery can be a problem, but... if you live looking too unattractive, that often becomes a target for criticism too, so being against it or for it is really ambiguous.
I think a careful decision is needed~^^
