3-month review of soft cartilage rhinoplasty at N Plus_ I absolutely wanted something natural, so I looked for this type of rhinoplasty, and I also chose it because the director is supposedly an ENT specialist. First, the conclusion is that I’m fairly satisfied. There was no splint, only taping. It seems some people have cotton put in their nose and some don’t. I bled a lot during surgery, so they put cotton in, and because of the nature of my job I couldn’t take time off, so I went straight to the hospital the next day and had only the left side removed. They told me to remove the cotton on the other side myself at home 3 days later, but I couldn’t stand it and removed the right side that evening lol There was no swelling at all, so I could go to work as is. The stitches were removed after one week. They said this surgery is called that because it is originally a soft autologous costal cartilage rhinoplasty. But I used ear cartilage. Maybe because I asked them to make it natural? Now I can move my nose freely left and right, up and down like a pig nose, and I can also pick my nose lol I only wanted the slightly droopy nasal tip to be lifted, so I asked for it to look natural, and until I say I had rhinoplasty, nobody knows. They really made it look natural, like my own nose. I’m not sure about improvement in rhinitis haha. The inside of my nose is still hard and blunt, whether it’s scar tissue or swelling, so from the front it looks like my bulbous nose became worse. I have to contour my nose more heavily than before; I think I’ll only know after more time passes ㅜ If you ask why it came out to 4 million won.. I went in planning to do only soft cartilage rhinoplasty 500,000 + functional nose surgery 2,500,000 (rhinitis improvement), but cartilage tying 500,000 was added, and the day after surgery they said something about dermis and I paid another additional 500,000 lol;; At least I got reimbursed through medical expense insurance, so that was a relief. If not, I think I would have been a little angry haha. No, I was angry ㅠ The director and the surgical result are really good, but the desk staff made me feel pretty bad~~ I usually don’t pay much attention to things like that, but their expressions, tone, and behavior looked like they didn’t want to work, and when I made the additional payment the day after surgery, they thought I was paying by card and told me the amount after adding VAT on a calculator. Even though I said I would do a bank transfer, they told me to transfer that same amount. Wasn’t that the original amount? No no, the original was 500,000 won, but they said, “It’s 550,000 won with VAT added~” It just felt like they were making me look stupid haha So if you ask whether I recommend it, I recommend it for people who want something really natural. For a more glamorous look, I think if you discuss it with the director and adjust it, they’ll take care of it well. Parking is inconvenient, so if possible, go early on a weekday morning or use public transportation ㅜ But the hospital is extremely crowded on weekday mornings. Around 2 or 3 after lunch was the most relaxed. But when will the plumpness at the nasal tip go down? This is stressing me out even more ㅠ
