First of all, I finished all my online research and in-person legwork, and yesterday I went and put down a deposit. The reason I’m writing this is that this is my first rhinoplasty, and it was my first time going to plastic surgery clinics in Seoul, but there were really a lot of clinics that treated patients like fools, you know? But I got a lot of information from this community. When I saw things with my own eyes, the information here was almost all the same, so I’m writing this in the hope that everyone else researching rhinoplasty will also read this and definitely find a good clinic haha!! There’s so much I want to share, but because of the character limit, I’ll upload it as images~! If you’re curious about which places I actually had consultations at afterward, and which clinic I decided on, please leave lots of comments >_<
용봉탕 Thank you for the information, I'll read it well
지니정지니 I’m from out of town too, so I really toured Seoul hard.. Even though I was tired, I went early at dawn, almost on the first train, and powered through mostly morning consultations. There were times I even went in before the consultants did lol If the timing works out well, you can do up to 4–5 places in a day. Really, really only possible if the heavens help you. Anyway, there are lots of flights these days too, so I recommend considering flights as well! You’ll be tired either way, so if you’re coming from outside Seoul, I recommend going early when there’s even a little less traffic and making the rounds. And bring photos you want, and strongly appeal your own standards for glamorous~semi-glamorous~natural!!!-!!! The conversation goes smoothly only when both sides understand quickly, so ask everything you’re curious about, like: when viewed from the front, about how much nostril show~, since the space between my eyes is narrow, I’m worried that a high nasal bridge will make my eyes look too close together, so how many mm would be appropriate~?, if using autologous costal cartilage, how many mm do you cut? How do you deal with nasal warping~??? Just write out a full list, bring it, ask everything, and ask anything that comes to mind on the spot too! I recommend bringing both photos of the nose shape you want + photos of noses you dislike. Explain specifically. (But occasionally there are places that answer super carelessly and make it obvious they’re annoyed; I recommend filtering those out ㅠ If they’re like that even at the consultation, what about after surgery? You’ll start getting unnecessary worries and won’t want to do it.) Google initials + plastic surgery clinic. (Check the reputation in this community too, including premium!!! Save up lots of points and check. I also recommend looking at ㅇㅇㅇ and ㄱㅇㅅ cafes together.)
귀차니즘쩔 [@지니정지니] Oh no ㅠㅠ even by plane!? So there was someone from even farther away than me!!! Amazing haha
익명 But an autologous costal cartilage nasal tip… combined with silicone means you’ll basically have to live your whole life with a rock-hard nose, and the foreign-body sensation is really severe..
귀차니즘쩔 Any surgery will have side effects, and I think there are materials and surgical methods that suit each person haha There are people around me who got silicone and autologous costal cartilage, and they say it is hard, but they say it isn’t greatly uncomfortable! Other people here will probably feel really torn by comments like this while researching rhinoplasty too. But rather than only getting information online, I think the most important thing is to find the needs that suit me through sufficient consultation with specialists and direct surgery reviews from people around me! I’ll explain why I chose autologous costal cartilage and silicone when I write the consultation review later! haha If you’re curious, leave lots of comments~!
asfkkkd [@귀차니즘쩔] Can you do only autologous costal cartilage without ear cartilage for the nasal tip?
Reader 7 [@] I did look into revision surgery as much as I could, but only after the surgery did I find out I’d have to live with a stiff nose… I’m not confident I can live with this foreign-body feeling ㅜ ㅜ Will it stay the same even after time passes ㅠㅠ
새새도리 There really are so many knowledgeable people!!
귀차니즘쩔 [@새새도리] I was a total fool ㅠㅠ I got ignored a lot too! But I wrote this so that other people can get enough information first and not be ignored, so I hope many people can take away lots of good information :)
우리집고양이야옹 Oh, you’re thorough. Are you a J?
귀차니즘쩔 [@우리집고양이야옹] I’m totally a P haha
귀차니즘쩔 [@우리집고양이야옹] I’m totally a P haha
키레이 Wow, I’m interested in rhinoplasty, and these tips are seriously amazing
귀차니즘쩔 [@키레이] Thank you. I’m planning to upload the actual consultation review and the clinic I decided on later~.~
Hooodiee Thank you!!
dorabance Even if you live in Seoul and have your own car, I don’t recommend it because there are lots of clinics where large sedans or SUVs can’t park and only mechanical parking is available! I think ratings in this community are okay down to the high 3s, but it seems better to examine the reviews carefully? Fighting
귀차니즘쩔 [@dorabance] Yes yes!! That’s right. If the rating is low, it might actually be a clinic that doesn’t advertise much~?
파파존스핏자 If you had sedation anesthesia, driving is almost as dangerous as drunk driving ㄷㄷ
쁘띠진 Why is Director Kim Peanut of Peanut Butter so funny and cute ㅜㅋㅋㅋ
귀차니즘쩔 [@쁘띠진] Just in case there’s a clinic with the same nameㅋㅋ

귀차니즘쩔 [@꿀올] I’ll upload more details later, and I’ll also post the clinic I decided on! ㅎㅎ Please wait a little. I’m trying to write it carefully, so it’s taking some timeㅠㅠ
오블리용 Wow, I’m so so curious where you got consultations, where you decided on, the surgery cost, and when you decided to have surgery. Could you tell me? Thank you ㅠㅠㅠㅠ For now I screenshotted everything. Drumroll, I’ll read it carefully ㅠㅠㅠ
귀차니즘쩔 [@오블리용] Thank youㅠㅠ I’m so glad it helped!!!!!! Later I’ll tell you where I had consultations and where I decided. Please wait
이쁜리니야 ㅋㅋㅋㅋWow, I’m going to Seoul for the 4th time now, but if I’d planned like you, I could’ve gone only twice ㅠㅠ
귀차니즘쩔 [@이쁜리니야] Wow,,, are you from outside Seoul? I used a whole day to go, but I really couldn’t do it twice,,
좋은데 The post content is good, but it’s curious that you haven’t been a member of this community for very long.

귀차니즘쩔 [@늘푸르른바다] When I was writing that, I really freaking wanted peanut butter
혼자놀기 Why is using peanut butter as an example so cuteㅋㅋㅋ You really seem like a power J
귀차니즘쩔 [@혼자놀기] I’m an extreme P haha My health anxiety is so severe that I think I became a power Jㅠㅋㅋㅋ

귀차니즘쩔 [@태태콩] Please check out the information afterward too
무지단 These are really great tips. Thank you so much
귀차니즘쩔 [@무지단] Yes, thank you haha Still, expert consultation is the most important, so please just use my post as a reference haha
아링히 Thank you for the info! I think it’s really important to first understand for myself what I really want to improve, the shape I want, and the harmony with my face, then choose a clinic.
귀차니즘쩔 [@아링히] Rightㅡㅡ !! That’s exactly what I really felt
푸팟퐁쿠리 This is a total great tip!! I’ll bookmark it. I need to start going around for consultations soon, and this is a huge help..!!

귀차니즘쩔 [@Ueong] Thanks, everyone.
귀차니즘쩔 [@Ueong] Thank you ❤️
예123 I went around without making reservations, but most places required advance reservations.
귀차니즘쩔 [@예123] Yeahㅠㅠ even if you make a reservation, the wait is crazy
답셉 Thank you so much!!!! I’m about to go for consultations again, and thanks to you I think I can ask well!
Reader 58 This is a private post.
귀차니즘쩔 [@룡룡룡룡룡] Of course!! The reason I didn’t upload the consultation review and where I picked right away was that I was watching to see whether I had made a hasty judgment, and whether the clinic’s attitude changed even after I paid the deposit haha. If I readily recommended it and then a bad situation happened, that could be a problem, so I’m being cautious! I think I’ve reached a conclusion to some extent, so I’ll upload a review soon!
냉철초코 I really needed a post like thisㅠㅠㅠ!! I’m also just starting to look into it, and thanks to you I think it’ll be a bit easierㅎㅎ I’ll look forward to the next post!!
귀차니즘쩔 [@냉철초코] Yes!! I’ll look into whether it’s really a good hospital, and later I’ll write a recommendation review!
쿠치파치 Thank you so much, you’re the best

권용조 Thank you, I read your post well!
순순찌 Wow,, I’m really curious where you did it
귀차니즘쩔 [@순순찌] The reason I didn’t upload the consultation review and which clinic I picked right away was that I wanted to watch and see whether I had made a hasty judgment, or whether the hospital’s attitude changed after I paid the deposit, and so on ㅎㅎ I’m being careful because if I recommended it too quickly, a bad situation could happen! I think I’ve reached a certain conclusion, so I’ll post the review sometime soon!
lelelll Thank you!!!!!!

귀차니즘쩔 [@woon22] Of course!! The reason I didn't upload the consultation review and which hospital I chose right away is that I wanted to watch a little longer to see whether I was making a hasty judgment or whether the hospital's attitude changed after I paid the deposit ㅎㅎ. I was being careful because if I recommended it too quickly, a bad situation could happen! I think I have a fairly clear conclusion now, so I'll post the review soon!
키키나루 I’m curious where you had it done! Thanks for such a thoughtful post.

진진자라리 Great summary.. thank you!!!!
응애영 So much effort~~
독거소녀 The nickname is pure laziness;; it’s not even homework, so I do wonder why go this far lol. If you read it, it’s just long-winded talk about things anybody would know;;; I commute to Seoul by car sometimes and by subway other times, and everyone knows Seoul traffic is bad and driving is tiring, right? And of course buses, compared with bumpy neighborhood buses or something, the premium express buses are more comfortable.... What’s funny is that the post is images, not text lolㅋㅋㅋ
귀차니즘쩔 [@독거소녀] Why are they like that,,
독거소녀 [@귀차니즘쩔] lol why are you saying thatㅋㅋㅋ do you think all the hospitals are clustered by Express Bus Terminal or something? Are you going to take a taxi every time to move around there?.. If anything, for your sake, that would be easier, lol. Especially if you’re from outside Seoul, bus routes can be confusing, and the subway is even worse because of all the stairs, right?? But most hospitals open at 10 anyway, don’t they? In Seoul, once it’s past the rush hour after 10, it’s actually pretty quiet~ I’m choosing to believe you’re really not a broker, so I’m giving advice for the sake of someone from outside Seoul like you
귀차니즘쩔 [@lonely girl] Sigh... I was going to ignore it, but since I can't pass by when I see someone ignorant, I'll explain it one more time just for you! 1. Why make such a big deal over something that isn't even homework? ➡ In the main text, I clearly wrote that I posted this because there are many clinics that treat patients like fools, and I didn't want people to be dismissed. * For reference, I've been a working adult for 10 years, so it's been a long time since I had homework to do, haha. 2. Something everyone would know? ➡ Since there are more than 50 comments saying it was helpful, it's clearly not something everyone already knew, and it's easy to infer that it was practical reference for someone, like using a past case as a lesson. ➡ Also, I think sharing experiences and information about cosmetic surgery is exactly the purpose of this community. 3. Everyone knows Seoul traffic is bad, driving is tiring, and premium buses are good? ➡ The post clearly says that I started using a private car early on and wasn't used to public transportation, and that Seoul was my first time there. In other words, please understand that this was written to help first-time Seoul visitors like me who are total beginners at in-person clinic visits. 4. The funny part is that the post is an image, not text? ➡ If you look at the bottom of the post, please reread the part where I said I uploaded it as images because of the character limit. ➡ And for reference, the text design was my small consideration for people who have trouble carefully reading long posts. I think visually organized information is easier to read, which is a designer's way of thinking that considers both readability and communication. + If I may brag a little, I also studied design, so I know a fair amount across different areas. I just applied that naturally, so don't worry, I wasn't stumbling around or wasting time making a single image like you might have done (skilled student vibes). 5. You think all the clinics are packed around the Express Bus Terminal? ➡ The core of my post is not premium buses, but tips based on my own experience with online and in-person research for rhinoplasty. The bus mention was just an extra tip about accessibility, so please don't miss the point. 6. Bus routes are confusing, and the subway is hard because of the stairs(?) ➡ Most of the subway lines I used had escalators or elevators, so I didn't feel any inconvenience. Of course, there may be people like you who even find standing on an escalator difficult, lol. ➡ I also took taxis for short distances, but the subway was economically better in a literal sense, and in a more abstract sense it also had advantages for using my time. 7. Once you get past rush hour, it gets quiet anyway~ ➡ I can't quite grasp the exact intent of that comment. People from out of town can't come to Seoul often, so if you want to visit as many clinics as possible in one day, you have no choice but to move from dawn, considering traffic conditions and clinic locations. If you have time to spare, sure, you can go slowly wherever you want by whatever means you want, and that's your freedom. But that can't be called advice. 8. Suspicion about brokers and advice for people from the provinces ➡ So what is your point in the end? Are you simply trying to pick a fight, or do you have specific, practical advice you want to give people from outside Seoul? ➡ You seem to know a lot, so based on that knowledge, please explain in a clear and orderly way the concrete evidence for why I seemed like a broker, and what realistic advice you want to give to people from the provinces. Like your homework skills, haha. (raise the issue -> present the argument -> examine counterexamples -> draw a conclusion) Please follow that flow! Don't just spout empty theory for nothing.
고양이상냉미녀가추구… [@AnnoyedAsHell] Forget about her lol. Maybe some weird plastic surgery staff got hit a nerve and is acting like that lol
독거소녀 [@CatlikeColdBeautyIsMyType] The writer’s A4-page-length reply looks even more like it hit a nerve;; piling on every proverb they know and shaking like that is so obvious,,,, haha
독거소녀 [@귀차니즘쩔] lol wow;;;; yeah, the effort is impressive, I’ll give you that~ “like your skills on that assignment, haha” -> I never said my assignment skills were good at all?? Ugh, I never said escalators were hard for me, and when did I ever say I made images;; saying I spent ages flailing around on making one image? Can you please stop with the delusionsㅋㅋ “if I had to brag a little, I also studied design so I know quite a lot in many areas” -> just listing transportation from the start already makes it look like you don’t know anything, and it’s incoherent and gives major frog-in-a-well vibesㅋㅋ Besides, for someone who says they studied design enough to brag about itㅋㅋ the image is......well, not worth saying~ Your designer-like mindset..ㅋ I feel like countless designers would be crying if they saw your comment;;; then I’m going to try saving even more of my timeㅜㅜ Writing such a heartfelt reply and wasting time on it was honestly moving~
이자카야 You organized this so well!! Thanks for the great tip♡♡
