I had jaw-angle surgery, and I decided on the surgery because my masseter muscles were the problem! But the doctor didn't bring up masseter reduction or resection, and they didn't do cortical osteotomy either. Has anyone had surgery where they only cut the bone like this? Other clinics' surgery ads say they do all three... Sure enough, it's been 3 months now and there is zero front-view effect I took two months off work and had to go back, so I ended up getting Botox, only 2 months after jaw-angle surgery.. Even then, the muscles look more prominent than before. I guess it's because only the area where the muscles attach got narrower, so everything got pulled upward. Do there really be clinics that do surgery like this? What's the reason? Is cutting the muscle dangerous, difficult, or is it unnecessary because it grows back anyway? I'd like advice from anyone who knows.. I'm mentally exhaustedㅡㅡ
