I saw that many people usually get the three-piece facial contouring set, but in my case my chin is on the pointy side and my face overall felt broad and flat, so I had the surgery. My face normally swells a lot just from sleeping and waking up, so I was really worried about swelling. The person who was the consultation manager reassured me, saying that the longer the surgery takes, the more swelling there is, and that their director finishes surgery within 1 hour, so they tend to make swelling almost nonexistent... haha... I had surgery in mid-August, but my face still looks bigger than before surgery. I haven’t lost sensation or anything, but the swelling is so severe, and I even developed Indian lines? When I smile, there’s this strange indentation around the cheekbone area. My cheekbones still sometimes feel stiff when I smile or do similar movements. One cheekbone was swollen in a way that made one side protrude, so when I mentioned it at a later consultation, they said swelling is normally uneven and that it was okay, and told me to wait and see. Now, at first glance, it’s not in a seriously strange state, but compared with my face before surgery, it feels so awkward and strangeㅠㅠ I’m not even sure whether the bone was reduced. It just feels like swelling + flesh got stuck all over my original face... I’m almost at 6 months now, and I don’t know whether the swelling will keep going down.
