I finally got the splint off!! For 3 days after surgery, the area where the autologous costal cartilage was harvested hurt a bit, but once the splint came off, I loved the shape so much that I was happy enough to forget all about the pain. Maybe this is what people mean when they say there’s no pain without reward..ㅜ In my case, my first surgery was implant-free and used only septal cartilage, but I was dissatisfied,, because I couldn’t tell what had changed. Even after rhinoplasty, I got filler and Hiko. (The pre-op photo is after having rhinoplasty, filler, and Hiko all done.) I wondered, “Is my nose just difficult to change dramatically?” so I didn’t have huge expectations, but I did hope the line would look a bit more fancy and a bit higher. After getting the splint removed today, I was surprised because it’s even more, more, more, more beautiful than I expected. And I didn’t know the uneven nostrils and short nose could be improved this much,,,, I especially love the nose line so, so much, and I think it would be great if just a bit more swelling goes down from here. Please, I hope the nasal tip doesn’t drop and just maintains well!!!
