1-month review of functional rhinoplasty at the clinic From the first consultation, the consultant asked in detail what areas I wanted to improve, treated me kindly, and listened carefully, so even though it was my first rhinoplasty, I felt reassured. The director also explained in detail what my condition was, both from the photos taken and in person, so it was easy to understand. After having consultations here and there, I liked this clinic the most and felt certain that if I did it here, it would definitely go well. When viewed from the front, my nostrils were too visible, and because I had a short, low nose, my side profile looked flat. That was my biggest stress and complex, so I proceeded with my first functional rhinoplasty. Silicone was used for the nasal bridge, and autologous costal cartilage was used for the nasal tip. Since I live outside the capital area, I arrived much earlier than expected on the day of surgery and felt awkward, but thankfully they guided me to a place inside the hospital where I could rest for a while, and I was really grateful ㅜㅜ I was worried about whether the anesthesia would work well, but before I even had time to worry, the surgery was over quickly, and after the anesthesia wore off, I had no pain. What was really amazing was that I had no swelling or pain, so I was very surprised. People around me also said, how can you have no swelling and no bruising like this? I think it is because the director’s skills are excellent haha. When I searched other reviews of procedures using autologous costal cartilage, they said it was a bit difficult because of the pain, so I was worried.. But for me, the pain was not severe at all, and it only felt like that area was a bit sore, as if I had exercised a lot? That kind of feeling. Now that a month has passed, I have no discomfort at all and am doing well haha It has only been one month, but I think there is still swelling around the nasal tip. Still, it turned out so natural that if I do not say anything, people would not know I had surgery, so no one knows haha Every day, I find myself admiring my side profile. The areas I wanted to improve have improved, and I now have a naturally glamorous nose, so I am very satisfied. I have felt a little regret that I should have had the surgery sooner, but honestly, even if I had to do my nose twice, I would definitely do it at this clinic!! I am looking forward to how it continues to heal haha
