I went for a consultation for front canthoplasty reconstruction, but at the time I had the burden of a lower-eyelid incision, and after reconstruction somewhere else I ended up completely botched and got severe depression as well. (I had been stressed for having a hook-like shape from a front canthoplasty I didn’t even need) After reconstruction at another hospital, it was so uncomfortable and the shape was so unsatisfactory that I had to widen it again, so I ended up doing micro canthoplasty at a hospital specializing in reconstruction after deciding it would be better to have both reconstruction and micro canthoplasty there, even if I had to accept the lower-eyelid incision ㅜㅜ (I wish I had had the reconstruction here from the start...)
It’s been almost 10 years now, and I’m doing well! It probably would have been better if I had done the reconstruction at Eve from the beginning, but even getting this much improvement from micro canthoplasty, I’m grateful ㅜㅜ For reference, with the micro canthoplasty, I wanted the feeling of a very slight widening from my original eyes, and they did exactly that. (It looks prettier and much better than my eyes before the front canthoplasty)
I don’t know how they do it now, but for people whose tissue is fairly good and who don’t have much to worry about in terms of scars, I recommend getting reconstruction here. I don’t know if my tissue is just good, but neither the lower-eyelid incision scar nor the micro canthoplasty scar shows at all. I don’t remember the surgery cost because it was so long ago ㅜㅜ
