It’s already been 8 years since I got LASEK. My memory is a bit hazy, but I’m still satisfied, so I’ll briefly write what I remember! The clinic was very close to Sinnonhyeon Station, famous as a high-volume clinic, and I remember it had a lot of medical staff. I didn’t designate a doctor separately and was just assigned someone at random. (It was such a famous clinic, and many people I knew had also done it there, so I just trusted the clinic.) My corneas were thick, so I chose LASEK, which I was told would not cause the side effect of dry eyes, and my vision was around -6 to -7 with glasses. I was told I could have multiple repeat surgeries, so I was really careless with aftercare (putting in eye drops often?), and my vision didn’t maintain as well. (They said it was important.) Still, I’ve maintained 0.9-1.0 up to now, and only very slight halos/glare at night remain, so I’m very, very satisfied!
