I heard LASEK is much more painful than other vision-correction surgeries, has a longer recovery period, and requires more things to take care of, so I thought about it for a long time before surgery, but in the end I think I did really well getting it done! The pain after surgery lasted about the 3 days while wearing the bandage contact lenses (this was less like the operated area hurt, and more pain from dryness and a feeling like my eyes were going to pop out because I’d been wearing lenses for a long time), and otherwise I just had to put in eye drops and be a little careful about UV rays when going outside, so it wasn’t very uncomfortable. At my last vision test, my left and right eyes each came out to 1.0 and binocular vision to 1.5. I’m not sure if I can really see that well, but it’s so convenient not having to wear contact lenses lol. I highly recommend the surgery
