It’s almost been 2 years since complete removal..

I came back to this community after thinking of it for the first time in a really long while, and just like back then, there are still many people struggling because of their noses... I also had such a hard time back then, and those days when every single day felt like hell have passed. Now I’m living with gratitude that I’m doing well.. I hope people who are struggling because of their noses can gain strength after reading this.. I had two surgeries and then had everything removed. At first, I had ear cartilage + silicone and lived without any problems for about 3 years, but as my skin became thinner, I ended up having revision surgery. For the revision surgery, I think they harvested septal cartilage and did deviated septum correction + silicone + a septal support strut.. But the problem started with the revision surgery. Unlike the first surgery, even after a month, the pain and pressure in my nasal bridge for no clear reason were really severe, and when I lay on my side, I strongly felt like my nose kept leaning toward the side I was lying on. Overall my nose felt so uncomfortable that I decided to have it removed, but whichever hospital I went to, they only told me to wait 6 months. I remember at the time, when I called to make a consultation appointment and a hospital asked me what I wanted a consultation for, I said it had been a little over a month since my nose surgery and I wanted removal, and some hospitals wouldn’t even take my appointment. Then at one hospital (I won’t say the hospital name because people might suspect I’m a broker), after the consultation they said complete removal was possible, which gave me so much hope. After enough consultation, I set a surgery date and had everything removed.. Even before going into the operating room, they told me they would only do complete removal, and then I went into the operating room.. The surgery went well like that, and in March it will be almost 2 years. I have no problems with my nose, I’m comfortable, and I’m doing well. Back then, the discomfort in my nose was so severe that I was really afraid inflammation might develop, and I remember emphasizing only complete removal because I didn’t want any more manipulation done to my nose. I also received a lot of help here, so after time has passed, I’m leaving this post like this. I don’t know when I’ll come back to this community again, but I truly hope that those struggling because of their noses find a hospital that suits them well, receive surgery from a good doctor, and become happy.
