But the doctor who did the surgery said that even if I had it removed, contracture would absolutely not happen, and that even if contraction occurred, my nose is a bit droopy, so that would actually look prettier. That’s what they said. They didn’t really talk about the negative points, so I’m worried after the removal.
It’s such a small clinic that I had seen all the staff members’ faces there, but I remember that at the beginning of anesthesia, a woman I had never seen before came in and said it seemed to have turned out well, so why was I trying to remove it, that it was a shame. I’m scared she might have been a pay doctorㅜㅜ
After it was removed, there was bruising on the outside of my nose. They said I could just leave without any splint or taping at all, so I came back with cotton packed in my nose.
The implant they removed didn’t have any blood on it at all either, so I wonder if they washed it before showing it to me because I asked to see itㅜㅜ And they said it was Iza silicone for the nasal bridge and Silitex for the nasal tip, so I thought they were inserted separately, but the Silitex was attached to the end of the silicone. It was so small that I could hardly believe that only that had been inserted and my nasal bridge could have formed. It was thinner than my little finger, and the length was short too.
Also, I asked a lot of questions about the knowledge I got from here, and they said there is a lot of wrong information on the internet and that other doctors all say those things to make money, so I’m confused about what the truth is. But when I asked about things that several clinics commonly said, they almost got angry and said those clinics say that to make money.
And the commonly taken medication after removal to prevent contracture, like Rizaben and another medication? They said that didn’t need to be prescribed either and didn’t prescribe it. They prescribed the same antibiotic they gave me when I first had nose surgery, only about 5 days’ worth. Is it okay if I don’t necessarily take medications to prevent contracture, such as Rizaben?
