Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

It has been 3 months since I had my nasal septal support removed.

I had hump nose osteotomy, did not use silicone or anything else, and only had a nasal septal cartilage support placed in the columella, and I removed only that. It has been a little over 3 months. So far, I’ve been doing well without any problems. The reason for removal was that even though nothing was placed in my nasal tip, the support was pressing on my original cartilage, making the nasal tip severely red and causing a severe foreign-body sensation. All I had was one nasal septal support inserted. Before removal, I was extremely worried, went to many consultations, and felt like I was going crazy. In the end, I had it removed at the hospital where I had the surgery. Strangely, now I’m back to my original nose without the hump.. My nasal tip is soft and pliable. When I touch only the area where the hump was osteotomized, it just feels a bit tingly. The doctor strongly told me never to make a pig nose, so I’m not doing that. I guess I’m fortunate it’s at this level. I hope others also have good outcomes. There is no columellar deformity or nostril deformity. There is no nasal tip upturning either. The photo looks like it was taken from below.
