Day 5 after square jaw surgery

Today is day 5 since I had rotational contouring for my square jaw. On the first day of surgery, aside from swelling, I had no pain, and other than my throat being extremely swollen from the airway intubation under general anesthesia and having bloody phlegm, I felt fine. I think it started hurting from the second day, and from the evening of the second day through the evening of the third day, I really started thinking, why did I do this, and I truly felt that I had undergone major surgery. I also really resented the doctor and consultant at the clinic who had said it would not hurt. My throat was swollen, and since I also had a compression band on, every time I moved, putting any strain on my throat hurt so much that even getting up and lying back down was painful. But from the evening of day 4, it settled down a lot, so getting up from lying down is not a major discomfort. The swelling had been visibly going down until day 4, but today there is not much change, and maybe because I woke up after sleeping, it feels slightly more swollen than yesterday, so it feels unpleasant and frustrating. Also, what I want most is to chew and eat something soon. Since I just blend fruit and drink soy milk every day, my stomach hurts, I have no energy, there is nothing I can do, I am bored, and each day feels so long. I just want to return to everyday life as soon as possible. Also, be careful not to catch a cold after surgery. I kept doing cold compresses, and when my body felt hot, it felt like the swelling got worse, so I dressed lightly and kept the electric blanket on low, but then I caught a cold. My throat is tickly, and every time I cough, my throat hurts so much that it is hardㅠㅠ
