<.>I had functional rhinoplasty, bulbous nose correction, nostril reduction, and nasal bridge osteotomy. My nose was generally spread out, so it didn’t photograph well and was a complex for me. I also had a deviated septum, so I searched around and visited a hospital where functional rhinoplasty plus real-loss medical insurance coverage were both possible, with an experienced doctor and a private-clinic setup. To start with the conclusion, I’m quite satisfied with the surgical result. Since it was a fairly big? surgery involving many things, I was quite worried it might become unnatural, but I’m satisfied because it seems to have come out well, giving visual improvement without looking excessive. Now at 3 months, most swelling has gone down except for the nasal tip swelling, so I think the overall shape looks okay. I still seem to have swelling at the nasal tip, so I’ll need more time to know for sure. Since cosmetic surgery is not really replacing something with a new part but rather reshaping what’s there, I don’t think you should expect too much, but I’m fairly satisfied with the surgical result. The downside is that if the doctor is busy, you may not be able to see them for long. If you have a lot of questions and tend to feel anxious, I recommend having surgery during the off-season.
