Review after alar reduction surgery

This Monday, I had an incisional alar reduction, and in the end I really, really like it hehe

I was originally going to get rhinoplasty, but I was scared and had also heard bad rumors about that hospital, so right before putting down the deposit, I said I wouldn't do it

While looking into other options, since my nasal bridge is high but my alae are large and asymmetrical, I ended up choosing alar reduction, and I think I made the right choice

I really like the shape, and the price was on the cheaper side too, so that made it even better

However, there was throbbing after the surgery. On the day of surgery, it really throbbed so much I thought I was going to die

They gave me medication after surgery, so I think it throbbed a little less because of that (it was only like that on the day of surgery, and from the next day it didn't throb)

If I had gotten rhinoplasty (alar reduction is also cosmetic surgery, though), I can't imagine how painful it would have been. I think it's a huge relief I didn't do it   If alar reduction is like this, then if I had really rebuilt my whole nose... I'm grateful to my parents for talking me out of rhinoplasty   Tomorrow I go to get the stitches removed, and I hope tomorrow comes quickly. Even when I sleep, I sleep on the raised part of the sofa

If I just sleep on a bed with a pillow, my head falls backward and it's hard to breathe

There is also clotted blood around the alae and philtrum area that gets in the way   And I haven't been able to wash eitherㅠㅠ Of course, I can wash as long as water doesn't get into the surgical site

But in case water might get in, I'm just not washing. I'm planning not to wash until tomorrow

Taking all this into account, the result was really good. The director also seemed kind, and the post-op shape improved, so I'm satisfied

For people who already have a nasal bridge, I recommend alar reduction~~

(I'll upload photos once all the swelling goes down~)
