Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

One month after silicone removal!!

I had L-shaped silicone put in 16 years ago. One day, the bridge of my nose suddenly became red and the silicone started showing through, so I had a consultation and got it removed. The surgery took about 20 minutes, and the capsule was completely removed too. My skin had become so thin that the silicone was almost about to come out, and they said the prognosis was that the thinned area might not fill in well with skin and could become sunken. The result is that it has not gone back to my original nose (I had no nasal bridge at all; I had 3-4 mm silicone inserted), and it is maintaining the height from when I had surgery. The thinned skin did not sink in and filled in well. Because it was L-shaped silicone, my nasal tip had drooped, but now the tip actually looks more natural. Of course, I will have to keep watching it. When I first decided on the surgery, I could not sleep and got comfort every day from this community. I am posting this review for people like me. I hope it helps. I will delete the photos shortly~!!
