First of all, I went for a consultation because I was concerned about my bulbous nose, and since I was getting facial contouring, the same hospital recommended it, so I did it together. But during the consultation, they clearly said they would put in an I-shaped silicone implant, and right before surgery they definitely showed me that too. But even years after surgery, the tip of my nose looked bigger if anything, not smaller ㅠ... It felt strange, so I asked the hospital again, and the doctor said they had inserted an L-shape... I was shocked and immediately booked removal surgery and had it removed. I didn’t really have any side effects, so even though I had surgery with an L-shape and then removed it, there isn’t much difference. They said only the ear cartilage at the nasal tip was left, but it’s not very noticeable either... I only wasted money and time, sigh ㅠ I’m looking into revision surgery. Anyway, if there’s anyone who wants silicone removal like me, I don’t think you need to worry much about contracture unless side effects have occurred. I lived with my surgically altered nose for about 4 years and then had it removed. It’s been about 3 years since removal.
