First, I went to the hospital, and for the nose area they removed only all the visible stitches, and said the remaining stitches will be removed 5 days later... Up to this point, it was good~ㅎㅎㅎ
As soon as they removed the tape, showed me the nose shape, and kindly explained it, the director taped my nose againㅎㅎㅎ
I asked, “Why are you putting it on again?” and it seems to be this hospital’s rule... They said I have to keep it on like this for 5 more days, and from day 10, I have to learn how to tape it myself and apply it every nightㅎㅎㅎ They said this helps it settle well and helps the swelling go down faster?
And I was told I have to wear a nostril retainer for 3 months. Once the nose shape settles later, I’ll post a review comparing it with my old nose, but my nostrils had also become distorted because of the revision surgery. On one side, it was hard to even fit my pinky finger in.ㅜㅜ What you see in the photo is the nostril retainer, and breathing is comfortable, and it isn’t as uncomfortable as I thought. It’s only worn at night, and they told me to do it for 3 months, but if I can do it longer, I’m going to do it longer. Seriouslyㅎㅎㅎ I hope this surgery is the last one after all I went throughㅎㅎㅎ
Anyway, it does seem a bit stricter than other hospitals, but it doesn’t feel vague or sloppy; they seem to prioritize safety and results above all.
Since this was a revision surgery and I have rhinitis and sinusitis, I’m also taking 12 days’ worth of medicationㅎ. It was a revision surgery and also a bit expensive, but now that I’ve actually had the surgery, I think I chose the hospital carefully and well this time.

I have to take out the nostril retainer for about 10 minutes once every 3 hours, so I thought this was my chance and snapped a photo~ㅎ The scar tissue hasn’t come up yet either, but look how much bigger the nostril has becomeㅎㅎ It straightened out well, right? I think I just need to keep wearing the retainer steadily~ Do exactly what the hospital says~~ I should listen wellㅎㅎ Ah, I really want to graduate from thisㅠ
