Hello It has been 19 days since I had surgery with silicone for the nasal bridge, ear cartilage for the nasal tip support, and septal cartilage. Ever since the splint was removed, I haven’t liked it, and my impression changed so much that I became depressed right after surgery and could only think about removal. I told the clinic more than three times that I wanted it removed, but they just kept repeating that rather than doing it now, it would be better after 6 months, and that they cannot take any responsibility for side effects and cannot guarantee any prognosis at all. What they’re saying makes sense, but I went for consultations at other clinics too, and they said about 90% would return, and that it wouldn’t turn up or collapse. Since what they say is so different from the clinic that did my surgery, I have no idea what is actually right. For now, I really insisted and promised to sign a waiver saying I accept the risk of side effects, and I booked removal for the 22nd day after surgery. But this clinic does not say anything positive at all. Is it okay for me to have it removed? I keep only hearing that it could turn up, it could collapse, it won’t return 100%, and they don’t know what side effects might happen.. Am I crazy for still wanting removal despite all this? Or does everyone usually hear things like this and accept the risks before doing it? Please help... Those who had removal, what choice would be right.. I’m so scared it will lead to another irreversible result..
